Now Transitions

Navigating the next chapter—together.

Now Transitions™ is a proactive approach to estate planning. We ensure the smooth transfer of your estate, investments, and insurance proceeds according to your wishes. With offices in Greensboro and Durham, we serve families across North Carolina by guiding you through important steps such as family meetings, final affairs reviews, and estate settlement in partnership with your attorney. Our goal is to provide clarity, minimize roadblocks, and give you the confidence that your legacy will be carried out exactly as you intend.

Our team, led by Certified Estate and Trust Specialist Brittany Robertson, CFP®, will work to organize and take timely action to minimize roadblocks, facilitate necessary transfers and answer your questions about any wealth transfer which could happen in the near future. Utilizing a tool called AssetMap, we build a visual representation of the estate, including family members and charities involved, to provide clarity to the process.

Family Orientated Financial Planning

Bring your family to a calm, safe space and discuss with an experienced, knowledgeable leader your concerns and potential roles as Power of Attorney and/or Executor, where you can ask questions, hear what parents want and what adult children need as you contemplate moving into the latter stages of the parent’s life.

Final affairs review

Begin to review and organize your personal business affairs to ascertain that your documents say what you want, that accounts are titled appropriately, that any revisions you want can be executed in a timely manner and that all your questions and those of your family are answered.
